November 5, 2009: Graphics in Comments
In addition to the table markup we blogged about two weeks ago, we have now added markup to allow graphic images to be inserted in Fortress comments:

The filename should end in one of the extensions .jpg or .gif or .png or some other extension that can be recognized by the pdfLaTeX \includegraphics command.
If the markup appears on a line by itself, then the image is scaled so that its width equals that of the current paragraph. Otherwise, the image is scaled to be 1 inch wide.
Images may appear in table entries.
Admittedly, there is not too much call for photographs of mountains or other geographical features in comments. But it may be helpful to include diagrams:
Normally, the image file should be in the same directory or folder as the TeX file or Fortress source file being processed. On this Project Fortress wiki, the image file may be attached to the web page that contains the Fortress source code being rendered.
