Fortress Comment Syntax
Fortress provides both end-of-line comments and comments with start-and-end delimiters. Wiki Creole markup, as well as a few Fortress-specific extensions, can be used within Fortress comments.
An end-of-line comment begins with (*) and ends at the following newline.
A delimited comment begins with (* and ends with a matching *). A delimited comment that contains one or more newline characters is called a multiline comment. (The term single-line comment is used to refer to either an end-of-line comment or a delimited comment that contains no newline character.)
Some kinds of markup can be used within any Fortress comment. These are standard Wiki Creole markup:
